Dinakaran is a Tamil daily newspaper distributed in India. Founded by K. P. Kandasamy (Tamil: கே. பி. கந்தசாமி) in support of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) when his father-in-law, S. P. Adithanar founder of Daily Thanthi, chose to support Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam during its split from DMK in and later accuired by SUN Network Kalanithi Maran.
