Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco, California was founded in 1996 by Todd Hosfelt to exhibit contemporary international artists working in all media.

History

The gallery is currently housed in a 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) space in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood on 430 Clementina Street. Designed in 1999 by Fougeron Architecture and Endres Ware Engineers, the architect was awarded for his work on the space. [1][2] [3]

In 2006, the gallery opened an additional venue, a 7,500-square-foot (700 m2) space at 531 West 36th Street, in Manhattan.
Hosfelt Gallery was among the first, to exhibit such critically acclaimed artists as Shahzia Sikander[4], Stefan Kürten[5], Shirin Neshat[6], Marco Maggi[7] and Jim Campbell[8].


Artists represented

Hosfelt Gallery represents and array of emerging to mid-career, local and international artists. The gallery represents internationally known and established artists including: Liliana Porter, Russell Crotty, [9] Shahzia Sikander, Jim Campbell, John O'Reilly, Marco Maggi[10] and Stefan Kürten.
