The name Thelma has been used for thirteen tropical cyclones in the northwest Pacific Ocean.
- 1951's Typhoon Thelma (T5117)
- 1956's Super Typhoon Thelma (T5603) - struck Japan.
- 1959's Tropical Depression Thelma (36W, Japan Meteorological Agency analyzed it as a tropical depression, not as a tropical storm.)
- 1962's Typhoon Thelma (T6214, 58W) - struck Japan.
- 1965's Tropical Storm Thelma (04W, Kuring, Japan Meteorological Agency analyzed it as a tropical depression, not as a tropical storm.)
- 1967's Tropical Storm Thelma (T6725, 29W)
- 1971's Tropical Storm Thelma (T7102, 02W)
- 1973's Tropical Storm Thelma (T7320, 22W)
- 1977's Typhoon Thelma (T7704, 06W)
- 1980's Tropical Storm Thelma (T8017, 21W)

- 1991's Tropical Storm Thelma (T9125, 27W, Uring) - struck the Philippines and Vietnam and caused a major damage.
The name Thelma was retired after the 1991 season, and was replaced by Teresa.
The name was also used for 1998's Severe Tropical Cyclone Thelma, and was retired following the storm to be replaced by Tasha.
