The Ready Set

The Ready Set is the stage name of American musician Jordan Witzigreuter. His debut single, "Love Like Woe" was released in March 2010.

History

The project started in November 17, 2007. Jordan Witzigreuter started playing drums at age 11. When he first started writing his lyrics, Jordan was part of an acoustic duo, but, when the other member of the duo decided to do something different, that eventually led to the formation of The Ready Set.[1]

The project began to gain popularity online and with the tours in which Jordan participated, and soon had an extensive fanbase[2].

Pete Wentz, known for his work with punk-rock band Fall Out Boy, signed The Ready Set to his label, called Decaydance Records[3][4], which released his first studio album, called I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming.

Touring

The Ready Set has been in various tours, those including the Take Action Tour, AP Tour, the Summer Camp for Dope Awesome Kids, the VMA tour and others. In those, The Ready Set has shared the stage with such acts as Forever the Sickest Kids, Never Shout Never, 2AM Club and Ryan Cabrera[5].

On November 4, 2010 Jordan also performed a concert in Arizona alongside Miranda Cosgrove, and power rock band We The Kings. The concert helped benefit Jon Jay & Rich's Christmas Wish.
