Sir Richard Vassar-Smith, 3rd Baronet (1909-1995), was an English educator and the fourth headmaster of St Ronan's School in Kent, England.
Sir Richard was born in 1909 in India and educated at Lancing College and Pembroke College, Cambridge. He was a talented footballer and played for both the Cambridge University Varsity XI and for Corinthian Casuals. After Cambridge, Sir Richard joined Lloyds Bank where his grandfather, the first baronet, had been chairman, before being commissioned into the Royal Artillery in 1939.
