Tazti is a speech recognition software package developed and sold by Voice Tech Group, Inc. for Windows personal computers. The most recent package is version 2.0.2[1], which supports 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP, Vista and 7.[2] Tazti is one of the few speech recognition software that offers a free dictation feature in some of their versions.
Features
Tazti Speech Recogniotion software has six primary areas of functionality: 1. dictation[3], 2. play video games by voice[4], 3. speech API for mashing up Tazti to robots, robotics, web apps, or desktop or other programs not a part of Tazti[5] [6] [7], 4. command and control input of programs, files, folders and websites by creating custom speech commands and associating them to a program, file, folder, web URL[8], 5. voice search of Google, Yahoo, Bing, Youtube, twitter, Facebook, eBay, Amazon, and other sites[7] , 6. Operate itunes entirely by voice control[8]. Other features are a part of the software. In addition, a user can create and train a custom voice profile allowing the software to better understand the user.
Tazti utilizes a minimal user interface. As an example, dictated words appear in a balloon and on the user interface dashboard as they are spoken (there is an option to set the balloon so it is not displayed), and when the speaker pauses, the program transcribes the dictated words into the active window at the location of the cursor.
