Can you stop changing the page stating that Stitch! is going to be released in the United States? There was a claim in the page about a year ago that it was going to be released in summer 2009, which was proven wrong. Unless if there is an official press release or spokesperson directly from Disney, someone should semi-lock this page and remove the claim until it is verified.[[User:Dark paladin x|Dark paladin x]] ([[User talk:Dark paladin x|talk]]) 06:24, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Permission

How the hell is it plagiarism if Walt Disney Productions is involved? Wouldn't that imply they got permission? 68.224.244.108 (talk) 02:53, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe it has to do with the books. The Lilo and Stitch movies were based on books written around 1986 and the Disney company got permission to make movies based on them. So maybe it's plagiarism because it never got the rights from Joseph Brookman (the author of the books). 69.3.25.214 (talk) 15:41, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stitch's name in romaji

Wouldn't Stitch's name in romaji be "Sutiichi?" ス su ティ ti ッ i (continuation of the last letter) チ chi --blm07 19:33, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I fixed it. Person that was changing it just read of the characters and did not take into consideration of the small i and tsu, which is basic knowledge of Japanese. Also, it's really just be just one i, because the small i changes the e in "te" into an i sound. The small tsu either shortens the sound of the previous character or extends the hard sound of the next character (which is typically how the tsu is romanized). Regardless, it would be Sutitchi (or Suticchi, depending on how the person romanizes it). Hopefully I explained that properly. Mendinso (talk) 18:29, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If this is the case, right now it says Sutitchi so should it be changed? Perhaps someone changed it back? Both sound enough like 'Stitch' so I'm not sure, not knowing kanji. Tyciol (talk) 06:20, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

no verification on Stitch! anime being released in the U.S.

It was revealed in a 2009 preview that the show will air in the US on Disney Channel later in the year. It is currently unknown whether the show will be broadcast subtitled or dubbed into English language, or whether any of the voice cast from the original Lilo & Stitch series will reprise their roles.

I'm planning to remove this statement, I couldn't find any confirmation of this online or anywhere.--Dark paladin x (talk) 04:49, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Who the Cat Alien Woman in the Show anyway?

I just want to know who that blonde hair cat-human that was in Episode 12 was anyway?

So what episodes are Leroy & Experiment 627 shown in the anime?

Stitch! moves to TV Asahi

Please stop editing the wiki article with rumors and false information.

Originally, I had started up the article in order to maintain information regarding the Stitch! anime that has been airing in Japan. With the second season beginning to air on TV Asahi within the following weeks, I've decideded to attempt to maintain this article once again. Initially, I stopped because the amount of vandalism on this page was too much for me to keep up, however, I'm in the process of re-editing the page and trying to restore it to how it should have been before this whole entire occurance occured. I really do not want to have to request a semi-protection, but if this continues to occur I will have to.

Seriously, if you guys have any information, please post it here so I can verify it, before posting it directly on the wikipedia article. I've noticed alot of rumors and false information cropping up on here and it's getting annoying. I hope someone else can help me clean up this mess as well, since as an individual, my grammar and spelling are far from perfect. Mendinso (talk) 02:07, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

English Cast

Since the cast members I added have been removed, here's proof that they are actually credited as such in the credits for the English version, as seen on Disney Channel New Zealand.

Obaa/Grandma is Gwendoline Yeo, not Amy Hill. Kijimuna is Colleen O'Shaughnessy, not Gilbert Gottfried. Unless the US dub is going to be different, in which case we'd need to list both... Busspedia (talk) 02:01, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The guy can't edit the article with his misinformation any more, so he's trying to splice it in between my own sentences here? Jeez. If you have a real reply to make or evidence to present, then do so. Busspedia (talk) 01:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder, is it possible to protect the talk page too...? Mendinso (talk) 23:03, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, yes, but it's almost never done for article talk pages. Protection really isn't necessary here because of the extremely low rate of vandalism (it's been several days since the last vandalistic edit), and because it's a single person only hopping IPs as the one they're using gets blocked. If it picks back up for some reason, though, you can file a semiprot request at WP:RFPP and see what the admins there think. --Dinoguy1000 (talk · contribs) as 72.251.164.58 (talk) 03:09, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Hopefully we won't have to go that far. Mendinso (talk) 09:27, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Guide

This is actually about the separate episode guide page, but I wanted to call attention to it here rather than there so people wouldn't miss it. It seems that people keep adding episode descriptions for episodes that haven't even aired yet. The dates don't seem very likely, either. I have my doubts that this person can know what's going to happen in an episode that doesn't even air for another month, and obviously there's no source given.

I didn't outright remove them yet. I thought I'd see what other people think first. Busspedia (talk) 00:12, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Generally, plot summaries for episodes that haven't aired yet are removed as unverifiable - the teasers you get in the previous episode and in various Japanese magazines are just that, teasers, and generally aren't enough to write non-teaser summaries. The air dates are more of a judgement call - if you can find a source or have a good reason to suspect they're correct, you can get away with including them, but otherwise they should be omitted. Episodes for which no information is available from reliable sources shouldn't be listed at all, unless they come before an episode with such information available, in which case they act purely as a placeholder until info becomes available for them as well (hope that wasn't too confusing... =P). --Dinoguy1000 (talk · contribs) as 72.251.164.58 (talk) 03:06, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No, that makes sense. Thanks for the reply. As for the air dates, what stuck out is that it had several episodes listed as airing on the same date.
Oh, and another update on the subject: I've seen two descriptions for episode 13 of season 2 posted now, different each time. Crazy. Busspedia (talk) 09:57, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The episode guide page is becoming a bigger and bigger mess. Someone actually removed the unverifiable episode descriptions -- which not only sound fake, but seem to keep changing -- only to have someone else call it vandalism and put them back. Funnily enough, the person who wrote these episode summaries is the same IP that keeps changing the cast list on the main page. Oy. Busspedia (talk) 01:22, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If it's the same IP, simply revert and report them to WP:AIV (give a brief rundown of their history and provide a link to the discussions here). It also wouldn't hurt to leave a note at WT:ANIME. --Dinoguy1000 (talk · contribs) as 208.124.86.54 (talk) 03:04, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mublat?

Seriously...Mublat? Can anyone even slightly verify this addition?

"Mublat
Seiyū: Ryūzaburō Ōtomo
The new enemy of Stitch, who is vicious, large and powerful ogre, Mublat has the ability to shape shift into other things. He is evil and will manipulate or destroy anyone and anything in his pursuit of power. He has two horns on his head, many spikes on his back, sharp fangs, koala-like round nose, reptilian gorilla-like face and he is wearing greenish brown pants. He can change into many forms. The ones mentioned are alien, snake, monitor lizard, bear, Tyrannosaurus and raven. He is slightly different in the anime. He wants to steal powers of the Spiritual Stone and the book of Robert Lizardwick. He is very strong and he kills some of his own goblins."

The same IP has added the info to Ryūzaburō Ōtomo's page, too. Busspedia (talk) 02:18, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, you know what? Never mind. He also added a blatantly fake episode in the episode list introducing this fictional villain. Editing 3 separate pages just to make your information look more real is going too far. Busspedia (talk) 02:18, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
