Josie Lopez (born March 19, 1987), professionally known as Josie Loren, is an American actress. She plays the character Kaylie Cruz on the television drama series Make It or Break It.
Personal life
Loren was born in Miami, Florida, and is of Cuban descent.
Before she went to college, she used to cheer for an all-star cheerleading team in Miami called Top Gun All Stars. She studied at UCLA and is the daughter of Mercy Lopez, a middle school teacher in Florida. She attended high school at New World School of the Arts in Miami where she studied stage acting/Musical Theater. In college she is studying Mass Media Communication and getting a minor in Spanish.[1] She has said that she would love to work with Sean Penn.[2]
In 2010, she was voted one of the 12 Most Sexiest Singles by OK! magazine.
Career
She has appeared in Veronica Mars, Medium, Drake & Josh, Cory in the House and Hannah Montana. She has also starred in the Lifetime movie Christmas in Paradise as well as other feature films. She also stars in the Disney Channel Original Movie Hatching Pete as Angela Morrissey.
In 2009, Loren appeared in 17 Again as a cheerleader and Alex O'Donnell's girlfriend, Nicole.
Since 2009, she has starred as Kaylie Cruz on the ABC Family original series Make It or Break It.
In late April 2010, Loren and her Make It or Break It co-star Cassie Scerbo guest-starred as their characters Lauren and Kaylie on 10 Things I Hate About You in the episode "The Winner Takes All".
