Regina Doman is a Christian writer who was born in 1970 in Haverton, Pennsylvania.[1]
In 1988, Doman graduated from Koinoinia Academy of Warren, New Jersey.[1] She received her bachelor’s degree fromFranciscan University of Steubenville, majoring in Communications with a concentration in Television Production and a minor in Theatre Arts.[1] After 2 years of writing columns and comic strips for magazines such as Lay Witness and YOU!, Doman met her husband and three years later released her first novel Snow White and Rose Red: A Modern Fairy Tale.[1] In 2002, this book was republished under the title The Shadow of the Bear. In 2004, its sequel Black as Night was published.[2]
Doman has been named one of the “Most Fascinating Catholics of 2010”. She is said to be “changing the landscape of literature as we know it.” [3]
In addition to writing, Doman co-owns Chesterton Productions. She has produced audi dramas including Enemy Brothers, Perpetua’s Choice, and her own book Shadow of the Bear.[1]
Regina Doman and her husband, in addition to their own writing, are editors for Sophia Institute Press.[1]
