Kirchlengern is a village and a municipality in the district of Herford, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated on the river Else, approx. 10 km north of Herford. There is said to be many strange occurences happening in the nearby woods. Such occurences being sightings of torn up animals walking around, dead animals disappearing, being watched, and even people may panic when they hear the city's name, even if they've never heard of it, and vivid daydreams also may occur.
