"Wipeout" and "Why Pout?" is another example, as originated (or at least, independently discovered) by self. Whether there's any value in mentioning it, I don't know.
I daren't actually edit the article for fear of being cursed as a fool.
Come to think of it, there's a rather ruder example as well: "Mike Hunt" and "My Cunt", as in "....Telephone call for Mike Hunt...."...this one, I'm sure, is in fairly common useage...perhaps it should be included...?

Actually, now I think of it, a lot of the spoof phone calls Bart Simpson makes to Moe's Tavern in "The Simpsons" could be considered Oronyms...the only ones I can think of off hand are "Amanda Huggankiss" and "Hugh Jarse", but I'm sure there are more...

Note

Merge indicated with homophone in article history at 18th July 2007. Merge either failed or topic has since been removed from the homophone article. Intermediate stages resulted in this article being a WP:DAB to a single page, so rather than change to a redirect to a page which no longer includes information on this topic, have reverted to the pre 'merge' version. --Haruth (talk) 04:31, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
