Come to think of it, there's a rather ruder example as well: "Mike Hunt" and "My Cunt", as in "....Telephone call for Mike Hunt...."...this one, I'm sure, is in fairly common useage...perhaps it should be included...? |

Actually, now I think of it, a lot of the spoof phone calls Bart Simpson makes to Moe's Tavern in "The Simpsons" could be considered Oronyms...the only ones I can think of off hand are "Amanda Huggankiss" and "Hugh Jarse", but I'm sure there are more... |

Merge indicated with homophone in article history at 18th July 2007. Merge either failed or topic has since been removed from the homophone article. Another example
"Wipeout" and "Why Pout?" is another example, as originated (or at least, independently discovered) by self. Whether there's any value in mentioning it, I don't know. I daren't actually edit the article for fear of being cursed as a fool.
