When I came to the comparison of Virginia being like Mexico, I was confused. Mexico has 111 million people and Virginia around 8 million. Virginia has 42k square miles and 1.9M for Mexico... so it can't be a comparison of size or population. I guess it compares the population growth rate, but I couldn't find anything in the sources cited to verify that information (that is, the population growth rate over the last 10 years in Mexico and the same figure for Virginia). I think this comparison column should be clarified in the article since it's ambiguous what it refers to.

Can someone add a color-coded map, I think that would be really beneficial to the article

Where does comparable country come from and what does it mean?=

When I came to the comparison of Virginia being like Mexico, I was confused. Mexico has 111 million people and Virginia around 8 million. Virginia has 42k square miles and 1.9M for Mexico... so it can't be a comparison of size or population. I guess it compares the population growth rate, but I couldn't find anything in the sources cited to verify that information (that is, the population growth rate over the last 10 years in Mexico and the same figure for Virginia). I think this comparison column should be clarified in the article since it's ambiguous what it refers to. --Camelotcrusade (talk) 14:32, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
