When I came to the comparison of Virginia being like Mexico, I was confused. Mexico has 111 million people and Virginia around 8 million. Virginia has 42k square miles and 1.9M for Mexico... so it can't be a comparison of size or population. I guess it compares the population growth rate, but I couldn't find anything in the sources cited to verify that information (that is, the population growth rate over the last 10 years in Mexico and the same figure for Virginia). Where does comparable country come from and what does it mean?=
When I came to the comparison of Virginia being like Mexico, I was confused. Mexico has 111 million people and Virginia around 8 million.
