Where does comparable country come from and what does it mean?=
[edit]Untitled
[edit]When I came to the comparison of Virginia being like Mexico, I was confused. Mexico has 111 million people and Virginia around 8 million. Virginia has 42k square miles and 1.9M for Mexico... so it can't be a comparison of size or population. I guess it compares the population growth rate, but I couldn't find anything in the sources cited to verify that information (that is, the population growth rate over the last 10 years in Mexico and the same figure for Virginia). I think this comparison column should be clarified in the article since it's ambiguous what it refers to. --Camelotcrusade (talk) 14:32, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
Can someone add a color-coded map, I think that would be really beneficial to the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fleaman5000 (talk • contribs) 11:38, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
There's an inconsistency between the table and the map. In the table West Virginia is shown to have a decline in population (negative growth) and yet it is shown in green on the map which indicated growth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.136.192.1 (talk) 16:53, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
The table does not seem to correspond to the census data. Here is the data: http://www.census.gov/popest/data/state/totals/2009/tables/NST-EST2009-03.xls This preceeding link can be found by going here: http://www.census.gov/popest/data/historical/2000s/vintage_2009/index.html As an example, this article's table shows Arizona grew by 2.1% between 7/1/2008 and 7/1/2009 and yet the government's Excel file says Arizona grew by 1.5% during this period (from 6,499,377 to 6,595,778). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.136.192.1 (talk) 17:12, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Somebody please help me with Puerto Rico on the chart. I just can`t seem to get the number to stay in the golden box. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.172.238.91 (talk) 03:57, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Population number of Nevada
[edit]In the last table on the page, Nevada population numbers are wrong. They are way too high! Someone- who wrote it perhaps - please correct the numbers.--Bornsommer (talk) 02:53, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Update image
[edit]This list shows population changes from 2010-2015, the image shows population changes from 2010-2013, either it needs updating or be removed. The image shows that Maine and Rhode island lost population and that Michigan gained, while on the list it shows the opposite. ∼∼∼∼ Eric0928Talk
