Dear PianoTech. You were a tremendous help to me in th epast when I created the Bio page on my dad "Harris Levey" creator of Air Wave and Tarantula for DC Comics. It has been more than ayear since II created thiss page and I have forgotten almost every rule and method of makin gvery simple edits. I would like to upload a Jpeg of my dad's artwork from my computer onto his Wiki page. Cna yo please tell me the proper steps for doing this? There is currently an image of a page already that another wiki member posted. In the background (edit section) the image reads as: [[:Image:HarrisAirwave.jpg|thumb|right|Detective Comics<!--Non free file removed by DASHBot--> #66 (Aug. 1942). Should I just follow the same format but insert the proper path for the photo as it reads in my hard drive? Also, I don't even recall how to sign off ... I think I need to simply type four tildas? like this 70.53.209.97 (talk) 22:49, 5 August 2011 (UTC) is that right? Please advise. *Hello there! Hard to believe it's been a year since you wrote that article. Glad to see it's still up! As for adding pictures, what I do is upload them to the Wikimedia Commons and then link to them from there. When you go to that site, you'll see a link on the left for uploading a file. Once you do that (you may need to register first), then you can insert the image in a Wikipedia article. Hope that helps!
