Speedy deletion declined: Cleveland Rowing Foundation

Hello Nathan2055, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Cleveland Rowing Foundation, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. — Joseph Fox 20:07, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns about speedy deletion

Hi Nathan2055, thanks for reviewing my article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Nottingham_Spirk_Innovation_Center). I'm curious as to why you declined my article---you mentioned speedy deletion category A7, and I don't believe my article falls under any of those categories within A7 (It is not a person, band, club, society, group, organization, website, or animal). Apart from that, I generally don't understand how the subject is not notable. I provided a well rounded variety of third party sources including the NY times, and it's in the National Register of Historic Places. If you could provide me with an explanation I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Lalexander11 (talk) 14:43, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
