Wulftec International is a Canadian packaging machinery company specialized in semi-automatic and automatic stretch wrapping machines, strapping systems and conveyor systems. It is a division of the Greek Group M.J. Maillis specialized in end-of-line packaging.
Overview
In 1990, Wolfgang Geisinger acquired Ayer's Cliff Industries Ltd, a local machine shop and founded Wulftec. In 2002, M.J. Maillis Group announces the acquisition of Wulftec International Inc., the leading manufacturer of Stretch wrapping machines in Canada.[1]
In November 2005, Wulftec announced that it will invest $1.5 million to further increase productivity.[2]
The investment involved a major expansion of Wulftec's plant in Ayer's Cliff, increasing the total surface area from the current 110,000 square feet to a whopping 136,000 square feet. The project was divided into two phases: first the construction of the new addition, and second, the reorganization of the production line.
