This Is Exile is the second album by American deathcore band Whitechapel. The album debuted at #118 on the Billboard Top 200 chart with first week sales reaching 5,900 copies sold.[1] It is the first release by the band to feature their current guitarist Zach Householder. It was released July 8, 2008 through Metal Blade Records.

Reception

Three music videos for three songs from the album were released including "This Is Exile", "Possession" and "Eternal Refuge". The video for "This Is Exile" was released on June 18, 2008.[1] The music video for "Possession" was released on November 18, 2008 and aired on MTV2's Headbangers Ball, and the music video for "Eternal Refuge" was released June 8, 2009.

The song "This Is Exile" is available as downloadable content for Rock Band and Rock Band 2.[2] The song is also featured in the iPod Touch game, Tap Tap Revenge 3.
