Eliezer Yehuda Finkel (also spelled Leizer Yehuda Finkel) [1]is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi and rosh yeshiva (dean) of the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, Israel. [2] [3] It is presently distinguished as the largest yeshiva in Israel with a student body of 6,000 students,[4] of which a large segment are from the United States and Canada.
