Do you really need to cite a source for a LACK of knowledge? I can understand that claims need sources...but no claim is being made, just an admission that there is a lack of knowledge. EvaXephon (talk) 03:45, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

I know this isn't the forum for it, but… I always thought they are bigger because they have more space. 80.98.146.68 (talk) 09:34, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

I had to delete this:

But research has shown that it is all just a lie. Fish do not really exist and neither do we. It is all just a big lie created to give us comfort in knowing that there is a point to living.

. . . but it was with some regret. Iralith 20:32, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hey, there really is no such thing as a fish, according to cladistics. Not unless we are fish, which gives extra point to the regretfully deleted assertion that neither fish nor we exist.

But seriously, folks, most extreme? Gimme a break. That's more unique than something that's a little bit infinite. Or, as a Disney short asserted many years ago, "This factory [for curling stones] is so unique that there is only one other in the world."

More seriously yet: I re-arrangeded the items in the lead sentence for a reason: Isopods are Crustaceans. Look it up. Hence, including them after "and various invertebrates" is badly misleading if not just plain wrong. Sheesh, what do I care about abyssal gigantism, anyway? Dandrake 00:46, Sep 15, 2004 (UTC)

Fish?

Sorry to raise another fish question, but if this phenomenon affects invertibrates but explicitly not fish, why is the oarfish one of our examples? --Iustinus 02:42, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Is it just me?...

...Or does that picture look really fake? Maybe it's jsut the lighting, but something about it seems off. In all respects, we should probably just get a better picture anyways. --Wikiwøw 23:50, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks very real to me. Mgiganteus1 00:05, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Blue Planet series was not created by David Attenborough, it was simply narrated by him. David Attenborough has however created the "Life" series. 82.41.10.157 (talk) 10:17, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What?

"It is not known[citation needed]"

Cause unknown?

I know this isn't the forum for it, but… I always thought they are bigger because they have more space. 80.98.146.68 (talk) 09:34, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
