Mr. Al-Babtain has established and fully financed a number of extremely important cultural ventures including The Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Prize for Imam Al Bukhari grandchildren which is an annual prize of U.S. $100,000 to restore the genuine cultural bridges between the Arab Nation and the recently independent Asian Islamic states, and the Saud Al Babtain's Kuwaiti Commission for Post Graduate Studies, which grants scholarships for people of the [[Islamic Republics]] of [[Central Asia]] (100 scholarships annually) to study at [[Al-Azhar University|Al Azhar University]] in [[Cairo]].

He has also instituted the Al Babtain Translation Center<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.albabtainprize.org/default.aspx?PageId=38|title=Al-Babtain Translation Center|publisher=Al-Babtain Prize|accessdate=October 9, 2011}}</ref> which was established in 2004 with the objective of supporting the translation movement from foreign languages to [[Arabic language]] and vice versa, in addition to the translation project which is implemented in co-operation with [[UNESCO]] in [[Paris]] to translate works from Arabic to foreign languages. It is run by Dr. Mohammed Rumaihi.

Poetry

Mr. Al-Babtain is an extremely established poet in the region, with two published collections. The first, published in 1995 was titled Bauhel-Bawadi (Intimations of the Desert) and the second collection, Mosfer fil Qefar (Wastefarer) was published in 2006.
