Federal Correctional Institution, Miami (FCI Miami) is a U.S. federal prison in an unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County, Florida. It is a low to medium security facility housing male inmates and also has an adjacent satellite prison camp that houses minimum-security male offenders.[2] As of 2002, it employed 320 staff and held 1,205 inmates.[3]

The prison is located in southwest Miami-Dade County, 30 miles from downtown Miami and off Florida's Turnpike (Homestead Extension, 152nd Street exit, 2.5 miles from 137th Street South). It generally holds convicts from the U.S. District Court of Southern Florida, the federal court for the area.[2]
