WRUY (1450 AM) is a radio station licensed to Rome, New York, USA, and serving the Utica-Rome radio market. The station is owned by Tune In Broadcasting, LLC, a company based in Santa Claritas, California.

Prior to May 2011, the station was owned by Bible Broadcasting Network. When the station was sold to Tune In Broadcasting[1], it changed from non-commercial to commercial status. Per FCC regulations, the status change required WRUY to maintain a local main studio, which it does not have[2]. As a result, the station has been silent.

If the station does not commence broadcasting by May 7, 2012, its broadcast license will be automatically cancelled by the FCC[3]. Federal law forbids stations from remaining silent for more than 365 consecutive days.
