Sarah Kazemy (Template:Lang-fa); (born 1987) is a French actress of Iranian descent.[1][2] She is notable for her role in indie Circumstance.

Biography

Sarah was born in Neuilly sur Seine, France to an Iranian father and a French mother of Algerian descent. Her parents left Iran at the time of the Iranian revolution.[1][3]

She is known for starring in the critically acclaimed Iranian indie film, Circumstance (2011), which she prepared for by staying with her relatives in Tehran to get a personal experience of things.[4] [3]

Sarah had no prior training in acting before this film. Soon after she was cast as the lead in the film "Kanyamakan". She is fluent in English, French and Persian and studied Arabic, German and Italian.[1]
