If you look at articles on other prominent film figures who then went on to hold high political office, you'll see that we combine their film careers and their political careers in one article. [[Arnold Schwarzenegger]] and [[Ronald Reagan]] are two good examples. I'm sorry that I can't point you to any Indian examples (I'm an American, and I know almost nothing about Indian film and Indian politics), but there's no substantial difference between the way we write Indian biographies and American biographies.
