This is my first article, starting from scratch, in the Wikipedia. I wanted to add something about the United Nations' regional voting blocs, as little has been written on the subject, yet they play such a major role in the world organization. Any assistance would be appreciated. There is little information on the blocs, not even an official website at the UN or otherwise, so other information such as member officials is hard to come by.

Also, an image I added has not yet shown up, dunno why. But it is under the Wikipedia free license maps if you're wondering about copyright issues.--Larry G 06:51, 29 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Not quite sure how to add things here, so I'll just say it now. Should French Guiana be shaded on this map?

Yes, it should; so should Réunion, Martinique, and Guadeloupe. QuartierLatin1968 El bien mas preciado es la libertad 20:48, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Right, those four French territories should be shaded, just like Alaska and Hawaii, however only Alaska and French Guiana are visible enough to be shaded on the map. I am just not sure about Greenland. I removed the Holy See from the list, since it is not a UN member state. Dave 22:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok well, in your favor, it's your first wikipedia article. But against that, you listed Turkey and Greece under Western Europe. Er.... You could have been more sensitive of a subject that is already very touchy. Given that, for once, there is the luxury of an 'Other' category, you could easily remedy this mistake by putting them there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.254.81.209 (talk) 08:29, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe he was sensitive about the subject by including Turkey and Greece in Europe. And you are the unsensitive one by leaving them out. The text reads Southern Europe too which clearly includes Turkey and Greece. Unbelivable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.41.1.20 (talk) 13:58, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
