Article needs major revision - organisation defunct

As mentioned in the article, Becta became defunct in early 2011. However, several of the sections contain reference to services, documents, etc. and links to web sites which no longer exist.

Most of the article is written in the present tense in a way that implies services are still being supplied, which they are not as there has not been such an organisation since March 2011.

The article should either be deleted or subjected to a major rewrite removing obsolete material, links, etc.

Tenders electronic daily

Ideally, there should be references made to the Tenders Electronic Daily, which is where all these framework contracts officially get cleared and accounted for. It's a very difficult task to track them down. Ask if you need help.

The contracts themselves

Every framework agreement results in a set of contracts between Becta and all the suppliers. Becta gives you a copy of these contracts if you ask for it under the Freedom of Information Act. In the future, these contracts could be hosted at: http://www.mysociety.org/2006/09/27/the-mysociety-call-for-proposals-the-winner-and-runners-up/ For now I am willing to put copies of them on my computer that can be linked to, like the infrastructure one I got last week.
