Hi I am new to Wikipedia, can someone please explain to me how to add information into the section for 'glenfiddich awards'? I am surprised there is no mention of The piping and/or fiddle awards they sponsor every year. These are huge events in the piping and fiddle calenders.

Hello,

Not sure why my update was removed concerning the meaning of Glenfiddich. Having been to the Distillery, this is a key part of their discussion and I thought a valid point.

Lookm forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Mark

Your edit hasn't been removed, has it? It's still there in the opening header. Perhaps you previewed something rather than saved it (?) You can check the edit history here. Bob talk 10:03, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revision 202446631: Nestorius

Hi all. I made a few changes; I think the biggest one is the POV change from 'whisky' to 'distillery'. FYI this has been discussed extensively here and here. Nestorius (talk) 01:58, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bob,

Very strange, I changed this late on the 30th of March (GMT), but when I checked on the morning of the 31st I saw an entry from you in the history stating that the "!" had been removed however the entire entry had reverted back to the state before my change had been made.

BTW - Thanks for the change of the "!" to a "."

I might be going mad as I can see no entry in the history to suggest that the entire entry had been changed.

Cheers

Mark - it is in the intro, mainly. What do you think? Nestorius (talk) 05:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Highland vs Speyside Single Malt Scotch

I have a question. This article indicates that Glenfiddich is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch, however the bottle lable (at least the ones on the many bottles in my bar) clearly indicates that Glenfiddich is a Highland Single Malt Scotch. Which is correct? 69.73.112.19 (talk) 02:45, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Leigh[reply]

Production

It says here that the Robbie Dhu Well is the only water source, but there is no citation.

According to the company history, Francis Collinson's "The Life and Times of William Grant" (published by William Grant & Sons Ltd, Dufftown, 1979), the water sources for the distillery were the Robbie Dhu Well AND the John Gordon Well. Should the entry be changed to reflect the infomation provided by a published source? If not - can anyone explain the discrepancy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by AndrewMaitland (talkcontribs) 19:47, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
