Attendance Numbers

could someone add attendance mumbers to the various years, as this would be useful for other groups that are sort of following in eastercons footsteps e.g BiCon (UK)(sorry still haven't got than hang of linking yet)

I've wikified the table, including a column for attendance numbers, (once we can track them down). VJDocherty 13:57, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added attendance for BECCON87 - about 800. - Bernard Peek

Eastercon traditions

The article on Peter Weston lists his Doc Weir Award with a link to this article, but there was no mention of it here. So I've now added a new section for it - and hopefully other traditions and events specifically connected with Eastercon. The positioning within the article of the new section is probably not ideal, but I couldn't work out where else to put it without a fair bit of restructuring of the rest of the article. Mary Gentle at Seacon '03

Since she pulled out a couple of days before the convention, claiming to be "under pressure of a deadline", shouldn't she be struck from the Seacon '03 entry? - Johan Anglemark

If I remember my facts correctly, no, she shouldn't - the committee decided to let her Guest of Honour status stand (and if I've got this wrong, someone who was closer to the centre of events will no doubt come along and correct me). The deadline, by the way, did exist. PWilkinson 18:08, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birmingham/Solihull

Someone changed the location of only one of the Birmingham eastercons to Solihull. I think using the former, more widely known name is more useful.
