Revision as of 11:56, 18 April 2006

I have know idea why I did a page on Ute Musters... I hate that aspect of Australian cultures.. oh well I guess because I knew an article about them would never be up here, because all those that attend dont have eletricty at home let alone connection to the Internet.. :P - UnlimitedAccess 16:15, 26 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

uteshows/musters

I would be very interested to no where this person came across the comments he /she has posted as i not only find them insulting but also misleading in my 30+YEARS involved in uteshows/musters as an organiser, judge and also as a competitor i have only come across this type of behaviour at very rarely. As a point most ute owners spend a lot of time and MONEY on there utes and as most of them use them for there everyday work/commute cars thrashing them in to the ground is not an option. As for the stickers on windows it's just another way of expressing your own induviduality and maybe its shows a bit of pride in the fact that u travel to these places to get the stickers ,meet new people, and have a look around this beautiful country instead of critising.Ps dont need 240volts for my laptop it's hard wired to the ute's electrical system.[satelite connection is a wonderful thing] Dean (Deano)Johnson Vice President Sa Ute Club www.sauteclub.com

G'day, Are you refferencing my comments made above or the article itself? - UnlimitedAccess 9 July 2005 16:36 (UTC)
Well anyway, I will respond for both cases :). If you were reffering to the article and found factual errors or language that doesnt confirm to the Neutral point of view then please by all means help contribute! The more people that work on the article the more encyclopedic and accurate the article could become! Remmember to be bold in updating pages! Also, since your interested in Australian culture (if your interested) help expand the article on Bachelor and Spinster Balls!.
Now if you were reffering to my comments above, they were totally made in jest, and I applogise for any offense it may have caused you. My inclusion of the tongue-sticking-out-smiley (:P) was their to imply I was just teasing. I grew up in the town neighbouring Deniliquin so am quite well aware they have eletricity and the Internet I assure you, I would of died growing up without it.. :P In all honesty I wrote the comment to see if anyone would respond since it is a pretty obscure topic in the grand scheme of wikipedia :). - UnlimitedAccess 9 July 2005 17:45 (UTC)

Hello, spelling and grammar

It's pretty clear you both came from the sticks, because that's the only explanation for the appalling spelling and grammar: 'critising'; 'their' for 'there' and vice-versa; 'refferencing';' reffering'; 'would of' instead of 'would have'; and so on. Go on, admit you're both city slickers pretending to be rural yokels.
