"Black Jesus † Amen Fashion" is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga from her second studio album, Born This Way (2011). Upon the release of the album, "Black Jesus † Amen Fashion" debuted at number 172 on the UK Singles Chart on June 4, 2011, and on the Spanish Singles Chart at number 22 on September 9, 2011. A remix of the song was used in a fashion film for French fashion house, Mugler in October, 2011.

"Black Jesus † Amen Fashion" was co-written and co-produced by Lady Gaga (credited as Stefani Germanotta) and DJ White Shadow.[1] . According to Gaga, the lyrics are about how when Gaga moved downtown, she was introduced to an entirely new way of thinking that was different from the way she was taught. Up until then, iconic imagery had taught her entire life to look at Jesus and religion in a certain way, so she sees Black Jesus as an entirely new way of thinking, which she believed was caused by meeting new people and seeing new things. She says that the Amen Fashion part of the song is about having a new way of seeing is as easy as changing your fashion. [2] .
