Tuscola High School is located in Waynesville, North Carolina, roughly 30 miles from Asheville. It was established in 1966. The mascot of the football team is the Tuscola Mountaineer, a southern man with a beard, usually holding a shotgun and smoking a pipe. They have a well known rivalry with Pisgah High School.
