Interesting fact about Mucho Macho Man's coat color? Its bay. But his Sire and Dam are both Gray/Roan in color. The reason is that both his parents were heterozygous Gray(Gg)and they both passed the recessive Gray(g)gene. That means Mucho Macho Man has two recessive Gray genes (gg)he cannot pass on the dominant Gray gene(responsible for Gray color) to his offspring, and thus never produce a Gray foal, unless he is bred to a Gray mare who can pass the domiant Gray gene to his foals.

Mucho Macho Man is an American Thoroughbred racehorse foaled Florida in 2008. In 2011, he competed in all three Triple Crown races, coming in third in the Kentucky Derby.[1]

Mucho Macho Man, conditioned by Katherine Ritvo who overcame a serious heart condition herself, was side-lined for the summer of 2011. In November of that year, he returned to the track and won a convincing allowance race against older horses.

At 4, in 2012, Mucho Macho Man won the Sunshine Millions Classic and the Suburban Handicap.
