BIOGRAPHY

Jake Needham was born in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Rice University with a BA in history and economics and earned a post-graduate degree in law from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He has been admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia, New York, and Texas. Since 1981, Needham has lived and worked in Asia. He is married to Pintuporn Sawamiphakdi, a graduate of Oxford University and formally a popular columnist with the Bangkok Post. They have two sons and now divide their time between homes in Asia and the United States.
