Linda Reinstein (b. December, 1955, San Diego, CA) is the co-founder of Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization.[1] Since the death of her husband Allan Reinstein from mesothelioma in 2004, she has become a leading global anti-asbestos activist.[2][3] Reinstein is also primarily responsible for organizing the Asbestos Awareness Conference, an annual international scientific, medical and patient conference now in its 9th year.[4]
Background
Ms. Reinstein was born in _____________ on ______________, and spent 35 years working in non-profit organizations. In 20XX, Reinstein's husband of ____ years was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, passing away from the disease in 2006. Her personal experiences with her husband's terminal cancer inspired her to create an independent, non-profit organization that would advocate for asbestos victims and their families.
