Cecily Strong is an American actress and comedienne. She is a cast member on Saturday Night Live, beginning in season 38.[1]
Life and career
Strong was raised in Oak Park, Illinois. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre from the California Institute of the Arts.[2]
Strong performed regularly at Second City, ImprovOlympic and iO Chicago, and has appeared at the Chicago Sketchfest, Chicago Just for Laughs, New York Sketchfest, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.[2] In Chicago, Strong has also performed at the Goodman Theater, Bailiwick Theater, Mercury Theater, and with the all-female improv troupe Virgin Daiquiri.[3]
On September 15, 2012, Strong will make her debut as a featured player on Saturday Night Live.[2][4][5]
