Megaramp is a ADJECTIVE, do you understand??? You can have a company called Megaramp, but you cannot stop people from using the term "megaramp" to identify any giant ramp, be it a 1/2 pipe or a 1/4pipe, or whatever. Mat Hoffman built the first giant ramp, a 1/4 pipe, followed by the first giant 1//2 pipe in Oaklahoma, complete with giant roll-in. If you have proof or evidence of any such giant previous ramps, please, let's see it because I rode BMX for almost 20 yearsin the 80s and 90s and never heard or read about any such megaramps before the day Mat decided to build one. |

I believe the claim that Danny Way invented the mega ramp concept is incorrect. Matt Hoffman was, to my knowledge, the first to conceive and built a quarter pipe ramp around 6.3m (21') in height, around 1992 or 93 perhaps, from which he'd launch out of after being towed into by a motorcycle. He then went on to build a mega-halfpipe as well. Britoca (talk) 04:12, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
A Mega Ramp isn't just a really tall quarterpipe. The Matt Hoffman section of this article does not belong. There were lots of very tall quarterpipes built prior to 1991. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.67.251.114 (talk) 02:34, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
