move cat

hello dear madman. im working on the one code with my friend is that the code can move cat automatically. course the code is almost done. when you go to here and add a new request (example: Category:micheal jackson to category: michael jackson) - to the better name - the category is moved automatically. also we can limited who a new user(little than 10000 edits or lower). so i want ask from you: Does a tool like this exiest in en wikipedia? and in brfa they approved this code to running? thanks/:)Mahdi ^talk 18:28, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure what exactly your question is, so I'll try to address everything you're saying. 1.) Does a script like this already exist? Yes, pywikipediabot has category.py and it's the most often-used and well-supported. 2.) In a BRFA, we most likely a.) would not approve the script to run unless it was to implement the consensus of a WP:CFD decision; b.) since there are many bots approved to do such and there's no backlog, would question whether we need the redundancy. If I recall correctly, the last bot approved to do this was only approved because the others were down. — madman 02:49, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Whitelist skipped?

I checked Idiocracy and got a hit from http://maps.thefullwiki.org/Idiocracy even though it is on the whitelist. I suspect the problem was related to several missing \ before dots in the list. --Lexein (talk) 09:58, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
