Recent Anti-environmentalism occurs with chemical manufacturers, oil producers, mining producers, timber companies, real estate developers, nuclear power industries, electric utilities, as well as politics. Present day anti-environmentalists view environmentalism as "an attack on middle-class American capitalism".^[1]At an anti-environmentalism conference held in 2011, Obama's campaign promise to make American more environmentally cautious was labelled as a plan toward National Socialism.
