The Re-View gave the title track a positive review saying,: "‘Light Up The World’ is a big pop ballad, drenched in 90s nostalgia, with a dramatic swooping chorus and is quite wonderful. While music tastes and styles have certainly changed since they last troubled the singles chart, there is something quite refreshing about Steps’ unapologetic old pop skool approach to their new release...".[1]
