Yanin "Jeeja" Vismitananda (Template:Lang-th), née Nicharee Vismitananda (Template:Lang-th; RTGS: Nitchari Wisamittanan), (born March 31, 1984) is a Thai actress and martial artist. She specialises in Taekwondo. She is credited as Yanin Mitananda in Chocolate.
Life and career
Vismitananda was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother Prasita Vismitananda and her father Pawadol Borirak is a businessman and died when his daughter was 17.[1] She has an older brother, Nantapong "Jeed" Vismitananda[1]. She is mainly of Thai descent with some English and Burmese ancestry.[2]
She holds a 3rd Dan black belt in taekwondo.[3]
She was discovered by Prachya Pinkaew in 2003.[4]
Her film debut was the starring role in the film Chocolate (2008), and her second movie was Raging Phoenix (2008).
On 29 August 2012, Yanin revealed that she has been pregnant for five months and is to marry Andrian Robert Bowden, a co-star in her previous films and younger brother of singer Pamela Bowden. She also stated that she planned to suspend herself from work for the next two years.[5]
