I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Dear editor,

Several of the edits you recently added to Arizona State University were found to be pasted directly from online text. This is a copyright violation, and is strictly forbidden (see WP:CV for more information). In addition, many of your additions seem to contradict explicitly stated information from the references that you and others provide. Finally, several of your edits seem to potentially violate either the WP:NPOV or WP:OR policies. While you are free to edit Wikipedia, please do so within its guidelines. Finally, please do not simply "undo" edits without explanation--further such behavior could result in you being blocked from editing. -Nicktalk 03:18, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

November 2012

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Arizona State University, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Jim1138 (talk) 05:21, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You changed the building description without explanation or, more importantly, giving a reliable source for your change. Please see verifiablity, reliable source, and citing sources. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 05:27, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sources should be added to the edit at the same time. Use <ref>[http://asuma.asu.edu Arizona State University Museum of Anthropology]</ref> It should indicate that it was the old industrial arts building, if possible. I added a welcome section for you to learn about editing Wikipedia. Looks like you are getting overwhelmed. If you need assistance, please feel free to leave a note on the *bottom* of my talk page. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 05:32, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:27, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
