From 2011 Sinaisky is honorary conductor of the orchestra. The MSO has also recorded several children’s records during the years, most recently with Georg Riedel (2009), and is the proud owner of a Golden Album (2008) togehther with Charlotte Perrelli. The Grieg recording (Naxos) received brilliant reviews in New York Times and the Gösta Nystroem recording (BIS) with former principal conductor Christoph König and swedish mezzo soprano Malena Ernman was nominated to receive a Grammy for ”Best classical album 2012”.
