Design

The AR-50 rifle utilizes a large fluted muzzle brake to provide less recoil. The brake also helps scrape away the turbulance of the bullet make it break in to stable air which improves accuracy. The AR-50 weighs approximately 34 pounds, but with bi-pod, mono-pod, scope rings and scope, it is closer to 45lbs.

The receiver features a octagonal design which is embedded in an extruded aluminum stock. The barrel is free floated above the forend of the stock ttransportingccuracy. The butt-stock is removable to make trasporting the positionuch easier. The Butt-pad is adjustable to a high postion when firing, but can be lowered down for cleaning. The check-rest is also adjustable to suit scope height and shooter comfort as well.

This rifle has been recently updated to the AR50-A1B that has a much smoother action, new bolt stop that can be depressed by hand to release the bolt without using tools, and a stronger reinforced muzzle brake. The available rifle configurations are: AR-50A1B chambered for standard .50 BMG, AR50-A1BNM Chambered for .50 BMG Match Grade Ammunition, and AR50-A1B-416 chambered for .416 Barrett.
