Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) offers one of the strongest Christian education programs in the country for PreK3 through Twelfth Grade students. PCA graduates matriculate to prestigious colleges and universities, including Ivy League schools and highly sought-after conservatories and design schools. The school beings using technology with students in early childhood classes and continues through Twelfth Grade, has an impressive 91 percent Advanced Placement pass rate, intentional biblical worldview training, award-winning fine arts and athletic programs, a faculty who are dedicated to a personal interest in the potential of each student and a school community with an intentional focus on a partnership with each family.
Around 2011 Prestonwood Christian received a 61% increase in inquiries and a 34% increase in applications submitted to the school. Most of the students in the school live within the attendance boundaries of the [[Plano Independent School District]]. Increased concerns with racial demographic changes, state budget cuts, and larger school populations in the Plano ISD schools resulted in increased interest in private schools like Prestonwood Christian from parents living within Plano. The school has won 3 state championships in football, they have also won two state championships in basketball. Students are primarily white and Southern Baptist.
