This site should be merged with the small site [[NG2 glia]], as these are exactly the same cells. See for example Nishiyama (2009) ''Nature Neuroscience'', Zhu (2011) ''Development'', Clarke (2012) ''Journal of Neuroscience''.

This site should be merged with the small site NG2 glia, as these are exactly the same cells. See for example Nishiyama (2009) Nature Neuroscience, Zhu (2011) Development, Clarke (2012) Journal of Neuroscience.
