⚫ | I found this article while composing an article for the Battle of the Hohenberg to create a link from the Pope Gregory VII article. As it turns out, most historians I've found refer to this as the Battle of Homburg an der Unstrut. Since the Saxons and Thuringians issued from the Hohenberg, it would be inaccurate and misleading to call it, as others have, the Battle of the Hohenberg. Was the battle actually closer to Langensalza? Who calls it by this title? [[User:David.cormier|LTC David J. Cormier]] ([[User talk:David.cormier|talk]]) 14:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC) |

I found this article while composing an article for the Battle of the Hohenberg to create a link from the Pope Gregory VII article. Since the Saxons and Thuringians issued from the Hohenberg, it would be inaccurate and misleading to call it, as others have, the Battle of the Hohenberg.
