Like many high schools, David & Mary Thomson has a student council. The SAC is in charge of all administative duties of the school, as well as promoting school spirit.

Current Election

Tomorrow, Friday May, 26, 2006, the David and Mary Thomson SAC, will hold their general election. The feature race is between two current SAC members, current Treasurer Sarah Ahmed, and current Honorary and former Prefect Dylan Bradbury. The winner of this race will inherit responsibilites immediatly a winner is announced.

Most of the Executive Positions have turned to one-candidate races, and therefore candidates inheriting the position. The only positions that there are races for are President, Grade 12 Representative, Grade 11 Representative, and Grade 10 Representative.

The candidates will present their speeches to the school in the morning, in an attempt to winover final votes, along with presenting their policy to the student body.
