Euzebiusz "Ebi" Smolarek (born January 9, 1981 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish footballer who currently plays for the Polish national football team and Borussia Dortmund. He grew up in Holland, where he learned how to play football. He went through the Feyenoord youth system and made it all the way to the first team. He is a striker for Borussia Dortmund but plays midfield for the Polish National Team. Ebi is the son of another Polish international, Włodzimierz Smolarek. ForPoland, Smolarek has scored three goals in his eleven appearances.
