Bodhi Pine Elfman (born July 19, 1969)[1] is an American actor.

Career

Elfman has had film roles in Mercury Rising, Collateral, Godzilla and Armageddon, and smaller parts in The Mod Squad, Keeping the Faith, and Gone in 60 Seconds.[1][2][3][4][5]

Elfman starred in the UPN television series Freedom, alongside Holt McCallany, Scarlett Chorvat and Darius McCrary, and in Pirates of Silicon Valley alongside Noah Wyle and Anthony Michael Hall.[6][7] He appeared in the short-lived ABC television series, Hiller and Diller; and guest-starred in an episode of Sliders,[8][9] and Touch Season 2 Episode 12 "Fight or Flight". Elfman also guest-starred in his wife's television show Dharma & Greg, playing a performance artist who asks Dharma to be a part of his living display gallery.[10]

Personal life

Elfman was born in Los Angeles, California, and is the son of Richard Elfman, and nephew of composer Danny Elfman.[11] In February 1995, he married actress Jenna Elfman.[12] The Elfmans are both Scientologists.[13] Jenna Elfman was raised Catholic, and Bodhi introduced her to Scientology; she became a Scientologist after they were married.[14] The couple met while auditioning for a Sprite commercial.[11][15] Jenna Elfman credits Scientology with sustaining their marriage.[16]

In 2000, Bodhi and Jenna Elfman bought a 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) home in the Hollywood Hills from Madonna, for $4 million.[17] Their first child, son Story Elias Elfman, was born on July 23, 2007.[12] Their second son, Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman, was born on March 2, 2010.
