As well as his great campaign tactics, he used a great speech to win over the students' hearts. During his speech he appeared confident and well-rehearsed. In his speech talked about how a Student Council President should be a representative of his school. He then went on to explain that as a regular guy, he would make a great president. He capped off his speech with the line about not "winning over votes for his campaign to be sucessful" but that he saw his friends that "deserved a student council president".

Notes: In what possibly was the greatest campaigning in the history of David and Mary Thomson, Tushar Chadha won his presidential campaign with a memorable "I am one with you all" speech. Special mention goes out to Zan Rathore who made what could possibly be one of the most memorable speeches of all time with his "Five best presidents of all time", "Bridge building vision" and that special someone who screamed out "You're Hot" during his speech. It was a race to remember, and a year to remember as well, as President Tushar Chadha and Vice-President Zan Rathore made for a dynamic duo not only through special events during the school year, but also through their excellent second semester announcements. Special mention goes to the new adjective that Zan picked each day to tell Thomson what kind of day to have.
